The Core of Tooling Design: Precise Matching

For connecting rods of different Komatsu models – including PC56, PC200-8, PC360-7, and PC450-9 – our engineers first design dedicated assembly fixtures. They base these on the model's assembly drawings and the forming properties of Q345B steel plates. Through the tight fit of locating pins and clamping devices, the positional tolerance of steel plates during welding or splicing is controlled within 0.03mm.

For key features like connecting rod bolt holes and oil holes, our customized drilling fixtures use a guide sleeve positioning structure. This prevents deviation when drilling Q345B steel plates, with hole positional tolerance strictly limited to ±0.02mm – fully meeting OEM assembly standards.

Dynamic Tooling Optimization

Tooling isn't static; we continuously refine it based on real production feedback. During Q345B steel plate processing, if there are minor batch material variations or new on-site assembly requirements, our technical team adjusts tooling parameters immediately. Examples include optimizing assembly tooling clamping force to avoid steel plate deformation, and updating inspection tooling measurement standards to ensure inspection data aligns closely with real-world assembly conditions. This "design – production – adjustment" closed-loop ensures tooling always supports product precision.
