The structure of the excavator travel device

‌The structure of the excavator travel device mainly includes the following parts:

‌Drive wheel‌: The drive wheel is one of the core components of the travel device. It is driven by a hydraulic motor to realize the travel function of the excavator.
‌Guide wheel‌: The guide wheel is connected to the travel frame through a tensioning device to ensure the smooth operation of the crawler.
‌Roller‌: The roller is distributed at multiple positions on the crawler. It supports the weight and impact force of the excavator through rolling friction, reduces wear and prolongs the service life.
‌Sprocket wheel‌: The sprocket wheel supports the upper part of the crawler to prevent it from sagging.
‌Crawler‌: The crawler is the main load-bearing component of the travel device and provides traction through friction with the ground.
‌Drive device‌: It consists of a two-speed hydraulic motor and a reducer, which converts hydraulic energy into mechanical energy to drive the crawler to move.
‌Tensioning buffer device‌: It is used to adjust the tension of the crawler and provide buffering when encountering impact.
‌Central slewing joint‌: connects the hydraulic oil pipeline and circuit of the upper and lower parts of the excavator to ensure the coordinated movement of the upper and lower parts‌.
‌Slewing bearing‌: connects the upper part and the lower part of the walking device, and bears huge torque‌.
These components work together to ensure that the excavator can travel and operate stably on various terrains.
